College football fans can watch this year’s playoff games on a super big screen.
Cinemark has announced that it will broadcast both the semi-final games and the National Championship game on some of its screens nationwide, and one of those locations is in Huntsville.
Cinemark Bridge Street, 370 The Bridge St., in Huntsville, will be one of the selected theaters showcasing the games with ESPN.
The Alabama No.1 will face No.4 Cincinnati in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on Friday, December 31 at 2:30 p.m. Immediately thereafter, No.2 Michigan will face No.3 Georgia at 6:30 p.m. at Capital One Orange Bowl.
The winners of both games will face off for the National College Football Playoff Championship on Monday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. ET.
All theatrical performances will include live programming from ESPN’s pre-game studio.
“We are delighted to provide an incredible opportunity for college football fans to come together and cheer on their teams in our immersive auditoriums with larger-than-life screens and surround sound,” said Justin McDaniel, Cinemark SVP Global Content . “This collaboration with ESPN brings together the best of college football and exhibition for a one-of-a-kind viewing experience that will make people feel like they are part of the action on the pitch.”
