Annual day functions are among the most anticipated events during school days. From speeches and dance performances to skits and award ceremonies, the celebrations are quite an event to attend.

To reminisce about their life as college students, a trio recently took netizens back in time by posting a video of “the annual 90s dance.”

In the now-viral comedy clip, three men can be seen dancing to AR Rahman’s popular song “Barso re megha” from the movie “Guru”.

Below is the video:

The video hilariously captures how kids try to coordinate their dance moves during performances and are often confused about the choreography.

In the clip shared by Hari Muniyappan on Instagram, a man can be seen puzzled as to what is going on, one appears to be the know-it-all while the other tries to match the “central performer”.

They can be seen jostling and trying to help each other mid-performance, a common sight at school dances.

The post has amassed over 20.6 million views and over 1.9 million likes.

The ticklish video also received comments from actors.

Actors Esha Gupta and Gayathrie Shankar posted laughing emojis, while Priya Mani Raj called the video “hilarious”.

Several Internet users found the clip extremely funny and entertaining. One user wrote, “You took me back to my school days,” while another commented, “The way he kicked the fabric that fell on the floor while dancing.”

A few others tagged their classmates.

Well, with the monsoon season in full swing, a dance performance to ‘Barso re’ is inevitable for sure.
