TAMPA — The Tampa Theater’s summer movie series returns June 5 with a full slate of classic movies presented in the unparalleled architectural beauty of this Bay Area institution. The original Star Wars movie is among this year’s selections.
For more than 30 years, Tampa moviegoers have flocked to the stately Movie Palace on warm Sunday afternoons to enjoy summer classics as they were meant to be seen: on the big screen, with a bag of popcorn chilled and a cool drink in hand, as a shared community experience.
