Stranger Things stars and Captain America join new Netflix movie


Strange things‘David Harbor and Captain America Star Anthony Mackie has joined forces in a new Netflix movie.

The duo – both of whom are now Marvel veterans now Harbor debuted as the Red Guardian in Black Widow – are among the actors who have registered to play in We have a ghost, the next film from screenwriter and director Christopher Landon.

Landon is best known for his horror dishes like Weird and Happy day of the dead, But Deadline reports that We have a ghost will be a family adventure film.

This family film tells the story of a man who creates a sensation on social media when he finds out that a ghost is hiding in his house, but gets the wrong kind of attention when an origins investigation of the ghost attracts the attention of the CIA.

Netflix also signed Army of the deadby Tig Notaro, Jahi Di’Allo Winston from Everything sucks!, Promising young womanby Jennifer Coolidge, Niles Fitch (It’s us), Erica Ash (Heritage), Crashby Isabella Russo, Faith Ford (Hope for faith) and The walking dead veteran Steve Coulter for the project.

Harbor’s working relationship with Netflix extends to Chief Hopper role in Strange things, who is expected to return for his fourth season in the coming months.

While Anthony Mackie recently starred in Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier for Disney +, he has also worked with Netflix in the past.

He starred in the second season of Altered carbon as mercenary Takeshi Kovacs, and was co-lead of the Netflix sci-fi film Io with Margaret Qualley.
