Spider-Man: No Way Home dethrones this movie to become Sony’s highest-grossing film at the U.S. box office

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film also managed to make a story with its collection at the US Box Office for Sony.

According to reports, Spider-Man: No Way Home became Sony’s highest grossing film at the US box office with a collection of $ 405.5 million. The film topped 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which was Sony’s biggest budget so far with a collection of $ 404.5 million, as reported by THR.

The film is also set to hit the billion dollar mark worldwide and should have pulled off that feat after Christmas Day. One of the biggest highlights of Spider-Man: No Way Home was the film’s multiverse storyline that made the cameos of other Spider-Man actors possible, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the MCU possible.

The film also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx and Willem Dafoe in the lead roles. Directed by Jon Watts, the film concludes the Spider-Man’s Homecoming trilogy which began in 2017. There has been speculation that there could be another trilogy in the works with Tom Holland returning as the web-slinger though. that this has not yet been confirmed.

As for Spider-Man: No Way Home’s India at the box office, the film after receiving the biggest release for a Hollywood film in the country, managed to surpass the Rs 150 crore mark.
