Shows canceled for Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap’s film with only 2 to 3% occupancy? It was called a “disastrous start”

Taapsee Pannu is one of the rising actresses in the Bollywood industry. Considering great movies like Pink, Thappad the actress has made a huge name for herself in the industry. Recently, the actress hit the big screen with her movie Dobaaraa, but it looks like the movie is going through a tough time at the box office.

The film starred Taapsee alongside Pavail Gulati and Rahul Bhat, among others. The film was directed by Anurag Kashyap and was made on a budget of Rs 50 crores. Read on to find out how it’s doing at the box office!

Recently, according to India Today, it was noted that Dobaaraa, which released today, August 19, had a tough start at the box office than expected. The Taapsee Pannu star had only recorded a 2-3% occupancy in theaters on its opening day, which is a huge disappointment that led to the cancellation of its shows in many theaters. According to a business analyst on Twitter, he said, “#Dobaaraa is off to a DISASTROUS start to the box office, the movie only sees a 2-3% occupancy rate while many early shows are canceled due of the absence of an audience.. (sic).”

Apart from that, the analyst also thinks that Taapsee Pannu star Dobaaraa will have a much lower box office score. His prediction indicated that the film would Rs 20-35 lakh the first day and end up earning about Rs 1.25 at 1.50 crores as his lifetime sum at the Box Office.

Talking about the movie Dobaaraa is a mystery Indian drama film that revolves around a woman (Taapsee Pannu) who is lucky enough to save a 12-year-old boy from a thunderstorm by hooking him up via television.
