These days, the fashion aficionado in me gets excited every time a new movie release announcement is made. Because new movies mean back-to-back promotional looks from celebrities playing their part in innovating and re-inviting the season’s new trends. While few actresses’ promotional looks contain elements or hints of the character they play on screen like Zendaya when promoting her movie Spidey, few focus on looks and perfection for each show or show. event in which they participate. Deepika Padukone’s Gehraiyaan promo looks were the right mix of both and Shaleena Nathani proved she was the best in her handcrafted curated styles which were just brilliant.
We saw several styles of jumpsuits, halter tops, and sleek black looks as Deepika played along the lines of stylish outfits that go with modern millennials and today’s Gen Z midfielder. Let’s dive deep into the Gehraiyaan of the movie’s chic and hip DP promotional looks.
She kicked off promotions for her film in a Milo Maria red skin-tight latex number. Her sultry dress featured a halter neckline and a keyhole cut out at her neck. Bold burgundy lips, dark eyeliner and contoured cheekbones accentuated her look. She wore bright red pumps and left her hair open in beachy waves.
Next, we saw her looking fabulous in a tangerine rib-knit dress by David Koma that featured a thigh-high slit, asymmetric hemline, and eye-catching cutout detailing at the neck. Her backless full sleeve number worth Rs. 48,300 was styled with gold double hoop earrings by Misho Designs and black pointy toe pumps by Magda Butrym. Matte skin makeup, a peach pout and filled-in eyebrows complete her look.
She once again donned a tangy David Koma number with black velvet thigh-high boots. Her black and white geometric print blazer dress looked dope and edgy and she rolled up the sleeves and wore it without any tops underneath, raising the glam quotient. Deepika’s monochromatic look was given a splash of color with her glossy, glossy pink lips and shimmery baby pink eyeshadow. Her wet hairstyle with a touch from stylist Amit Thakur deserved all the applause for making her style look more daring!
Deepika Padukone is always on the cutting edge of fashion. This look was edgy, luxurious and dope! Her black faux leather mini dress from Halpern featured an asymmetrical shoulder line, cutouts at the waist and a ruched fitted silhouette. She teamed the look with matching lace-up heels by Magda Butrym and made a statement with her eye-catching gold drop earrings!
Rocking the season’s hot trends one after the other, the actress rocked another blazer dress in black by Alexandre Vauthier and left us speechless with her signature ruby red lipstick and sleek back bun. A chunky silver chain choker and strappy black stilettos completed her structured blazer dress and luxe look.
With Gehraiyaan’s promotions, Deepika has upped her style game and this sultry look would be proof of that! Wearing Alix Nyc’s red bodysuit with a crisscross halter neckline paired with Levi’s x Deepika Padukone deep blue high waisted flare jeans, the diva showed she had a modern edge without giving up on the comfort factor. Pointed white pumps and Gianvito Rossi’s glamorous makeup completed her look.
Taking a break from bright and racy colors, the actress then sported an all-white semi-formal look by Victoria Beckham. She paired her partially unbuttoned tight shirt with high waisted wide leg pants and slipped them on in style and immaculately. Her side waves settled in nicely with soft beachy waves, her all-matte skin but a nude pink pout and thick brows sold us.
Rocking yet another David Koma number, Deepika looked absolutely stunning in her sleek beige and black monogram print midi dress. The figure-hugging number featured a deep V polo neckline with mesh trim, black pointed lapels and half sleeves. Minimalist accessories with gold half hoop earrings and black Christain Louboutin stilettos sealed her look perfectly.
This is one of our favorite looks from the list that has been put together so well. The style, perfect, the makeup, perfect, the hair, oh-so-chic, together capturing a very warm and relaxed chic vibe. Deepika’s Adidas X Ivy Park denim bodysuit paired with printed denim joggers was designed without accessories and was the perfect way to kill the denim-on-denim trend.
For the final promotional look before the movie’s release, Deepika stole our hearts in a racy and edgy Alex Perry look. The 36-year-old styled a black strapless top with a neon green mini skirt and layered it with a black structured latex blazer. Black lace-up heels by Magda Butrym, a messy low bun and bold makeup with highlighted skin, perfectly smudged defined eyes, filled-in eyebrows and brown lipstick cut the image perfectly!
